Ireland 7 days by air The wild beauty of Irish nature, stunning coasts, lively cities, medieval castles, rich music and artistic traditions constitute the image of the beautiful northern European country. Day 1: THESSALONIKI – BELFAST (145 km) Early morning a gathering at MACEDONIA airport and a flight to Ireland via a European capital. Arrival at Dublin Airport and then we will be boarding the coach that will take us to the famous Belfast. On the way we will visit the Monasterboice with the impressive Celtic crosses. Settling into our 4 star hotel. In our afternoon tour, we will be able to discover the sights and monuments of the historical capital of Northern Ireland. Day 2: NORTHERN IRELAND – GALWAY (320 km) Today we will meet the most important attractions of Northern Ireland, starting with a visit to the seaside Carrickfergus, its famous romantic castle and the famous Giant’s Causeway, a unique geological phenomenon of 40000 royal columns on the coast. Then following a wonderful journey through green meadows and small picturesque villages, we arrive late in the afternoon in Galway town built with a panoramic view, on the shore of the homonymous bay. Overnight at our 3-star hotel in the area. Day 3: CLIFFS OF MOHEN – LIMERICK (185 km) In the morning departure and taking the south direction we will pass the Bourren areas with its prehistoric sites to get to the Mohehen shores known from the many films shot there. Above the rocks of Mohen, we will look at the Atlantic and take unique pictures. Visit the Bunratty Castle and the beautiful folklore park. We will end up in the town of Limerick, built at the eastern end of a large fjord that is created by the Atlantic there. In our tour of the city, we will see, among other things, the impressive castle of King John, the Bishop’s Palace, the Medieval Cathedral of St. Mary, the Town Hall and more. Overnight stay at our 3 star hotel. Day 4: RING OF KERRY – KILLARNEY – CORK (345 km) In our current trip we will first meet the famous Irish cow area, one of the finest and most beautiful areas in the Irish hinterland, then go from the Killarney National Park to Loch Fyne and we reach the most important and beautiful city of southern Ireland, Cork. We explore the sights and monuments of the scenic city, panoramically built at the northern end of the homonymous fjord and in the canals of the great river Lee. Overnight at our 4 star hotel. Day 5: CASHEL – DUBLIN (370 km) At the morning, departure for Dublin. Our first stop at Cashel, where we will visit its famous Rock and its ancient, historic cathedral. Settling into our 4 star hotel. Free time, in order to make our first acquaintance with the aristocratic, seaside capital with its many beautiful bridges over the River Liffey. For the evening, we recommend visiting some of the city’s famous pubs and tasting Irish beers, things that Dublin is famous for worldwide. Day 6: DUBLIN Our morning tour will start from the famous Ha’ppeny Bridge, the historical Trinity College, the magnificent St. Patrick’s Cathedral, the University, the Dublin Castle and the arbour. In the afternoon, we are free to walk in the city’s shopping streets or visit museums. Day 7: DUBLIN – THESSALONIKI In the morning we leave Dublin and Ireland, we will be taken to the airport from where we will fly to Thessaloniki via a European capital.
