Malaysia
The memorie of the fantastic sea adventures ... the epic of piracy!
Malaysia Exotic in its own way, a paradox of ancient cultures, Muslims and Buddhists. Malaysia, an unknown culture, an unknown traveler, for many, is one of the most seductive countries in Southeast Asia. A country with many faces. Its largest area is covered by the world's most pristine and primitive jungle, while the western and eastern shores of the peninsula are adorned with paradise islands. A federal Sultanate, with a population of 50% Malays, 35% Chinese, 10% Indian and 5% Indigenous tribes, a clutter of peoples and a dynamic face of a country that projects a character beyond its own. Discover its distinctive and charming culture, tasty cuisine and its stunning underwater world, while it still remains authentic. DAGIAKOS Dagiakos who live in the interior of Sarawak, and who still retain astonishingly "neolithic" type habits, have a high stature and paint their whole body, but taking care that the plans have an unnecessary number of ways to keep the bad spirits away. They live by race with a strict patriarchal structure and are engaged in spiritualism. They really believe in a powerful god who heads a large court of deities and spirits, whose mysteries are only known to wizards and prophetic witches. Particular interest in its variety is the folklore of Dagiakas: music, celebrations and especially dances, of which it is worth mentioning the mournful dance, performed by an elderly man about the tree that will give the coffin wood, the a group male dance performed around a circle of swords resting on the ground or, finally, the singing of a single man with a shield and swords. In all of their dances, the Dagaians use masks that have nothing realistic, but they are made with the aim, the bizarre and the unreal. |
